Ezekiel 20:4-6

4 Will you judge them, will you judge them, son of man? (A)Make known to them the abominations of their fathers; 5 and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “On the day when I (B)chose Israel and [a]swore to the [b]descendants of the house of Jacob and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I [c]swore to them, saying, (C)I am the Lord your God, 6 on that day I swore to them, (D)to bring them out from the land of Egypt into a land that I had [d]selected for them, (E)flowing with milk and honey, which is (F)the glory of all the lands.

4 “Will you judge them? Will you judge them, son of man? Then confront them with the detestable practices of their ancestors(A) 5 and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I chose(B) Israel, I swore with uplifted hand(C) to the descendants of Jacob and revealed myself to them in Egypt. With uplifted hand I said to them, “I am the Lord your God.(D)” 6 On that day I swore(E) to them that I would bring them out of Egypt into a land I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey,(F) the most beautiful of all lands.(G)
