Ezekiel 37:5-10
New English Translation
5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: Look, I am about to infuse breath[a] into you and you will live. 6 I will put tendons[b] on you and muscles over you and will cover you with skin; I will put breath[c] in you, and you will live. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. There was a sound when I prophesied— I heard[d] a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 As I watched, I saw[e] tendons on them, then muscles appeared,[f] and skin covered over them from above, but there was no breath[g] in them.
9 He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath,[h]—prophesy, son of man—and say to the breath: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these corpses so that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as I was commanded, and the breath came into them; they lived and stood on their feet, an extremely great army.

New International Version
5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life.(A) 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.(B)’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath;(C) prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds(D) and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded(E) me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.(F)
