²¹ And ^(A)the Lord was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, so that they might ^[a]travel by day and by night.

¹² They ^(A)shall not leave any of it until morning, ^(B)nor break a bone of it; they shall celebrate it in accordance with the whole statute of the Passover.

The Cloud on the Tabernacle

¹⁵ Now on ^(A)the day that the tabernacle was erected, ^(B)the cloud covered the tabernacle, the ^(C)tent of the testimony, and ^(D)in the evening it was like the appearance of fire over the tabernacle until morning.

⁵ then the Lord will create over the entire area of Mount Zion and over her assemblies ^(A)a cloud by day, and smoke, and the brightness of a flaming fire by night; for over all the ^(B)glory will be a canopy.
