⁷ Then I will take you ^[a](A)as My people, and ^(B)I will be ^[b]your God; and ^(C)you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the labors of the Egyptians.

⁴⁴ For ^(A)I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and ^(B)be holy, because I am holy. And you shall not make yourselves unclean with any of the swarming things that swarm on the earth.

⁵ and say to them, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “On the day when I ^(A)chose Israel and ^[a]swore to the ^[b]descendants of the house of Jacob and made Myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I ^[c]swore to them, saying, ^(B)I am the Lord your God,
