²⁰He further said, “You cannot see My face, ^(A)for mankind shall not see Me and live!”

Exodus 33:20

²⁰But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see^(A) me and live.”

²⁰And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

⁸But when Simon Peter saw this, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Go away from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!”
