Exodus 3:12-14
New Century Version
12 God said, “I will be with you. This will be the proof that I am sending you: After you lead the people out of Egypt, all of you will worship me on this mountain.”
13 Moses said to God, “When I go to the Israelites, I will say to them, ‘The God of your ancestors sent me to you.’ What if the people say, ‘What is his name?’ What should I tell them?”
14 Then God said to Moses, “I am who I am.[a] When you go to the people of Israel, tell them, ‘I am sent me to you.’”

- 3:14 I . . . I am The Hebrew words are like the name “Yahweh.” This Hebrew name for God, usually called “Lord,” shows that God always lives and is always with his people.

New International Version
12 And God said, “I will be with you.(A) And this will be the sign(B) to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you[a] will worship God on this mountain.(C)”
13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’(D) Then what shall I tell them?”
14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am.[b] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am(E) has sent me to you.’”
