Exodus 22:25-27

25 “(A)If you lend money to My people, to the poor [a]among you, you are not to [b]act as a creditor to him; you shall not [c]charge him (B)interest. 26 If you ever seize your neighbor’s cloak (C)as a pledge, you are to return it to him before the sun sets, 27 for that is his only covering; it is his cloak for his [d]body. What else is he to sleep in? And it will come about that (D)when he cries out to Me, I will listen to him, for (E)I am gracious.

25 “If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest.(A) 26 If you take your neighbor’s cloak as a pledge,(B) return it by sunset, 27 because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in?(C) When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.(D)
