But the people were thirsty for water there; and [a]they (A)grumbled against Moses and said, “Why is it that you have you brought us up from Egypt, to kill [b]us and [c]our children and [d](B)our livestock with thirst?” So Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, “What am I to do with this people? A (C)little more and they will stone me!” Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pass before the people and take with you some of (D)the elders of Israel; and take in your hand your staff with which (E)you struck the Nile, and go.

And Moses cried unto the Lord, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.

And the Lord said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
