¹³So it came about at evening that ^(A)the quails came up and covered the camp, and in the morning ^(B)there was a layer of dew around the camp.

New International Version

¹³That evening quail^(A) came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew^(B) around the camp.

⁴⁰^[a]They ^(A)asked, and He brought ^(B)quail,
And satisfied them with the ^[b]^(C)bread of heaven.

⁴⁰They asked,^(A) and he brought them quail;^(B)
he fed them well with the bread of heaven.^(C)
