¹⁹ Then ^(A)the angel of God, who had been going before the camp of Israel, moved and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them.

²⁴ But at the morning watch, ^(A)the Lord looked down on the ^[a]army of the Egyptians ^[b]through the pillar of fire and cloud, and brought the ^[c]army of the Egyptians into confusion.

⁹ Whenever Moses entered the tent, ^(A)the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the entrance of the tent; ^(B)and ^[a]the Lord would speak with Moses. ¹⁰ When all the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, all the people would stand and worship, each at the entrance of his tent.

The Cloud on the Tabernacle

¹⁵ Now on ^(A)the day that the tabernacle was erected, ^(B)the cloud covered the tabernacle, the ^(C)tent of the testimony, and ^(D)in the evening it was like the appearance of fire over the tabernacle until morning.

¹⁴ and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, Lord, are in the midst of this people, because ^(A)You, Lord, are seen eye to eye, while Your cloud stands over them; and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day, and in a pillar of fire by night.
