¹⁷ I said ^[a]to myself, “^(A)God will judge the righteous and the wicked,” for a ^(B)time for every matter and for every deed ^[b]is there.

⁹ Rejoice, young man, during your childhood, and let your heart be pleasant during the days of young manhood. And follow the ^[a]impulses of your heart and the ^[b](A)desires of your eyes. Yet know that ^(B)God will bring you to judgment for all these things.

²⁶ “So do not ^(A)fear them, ^(B)for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.

¹⁶ on the day when, ^(A)according to my gospel, ^(B)God will judge the secrets of mankind through Christ Jesus.

⁵ Therefore ^(A)do not go on ^[a]passing judgment before ^[b]the time, but wait ^(B)until the Lord comes, who will both ^(C)bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of human hearts; and then ^(D)praise will come to each person from God.
