² “Since I ^(A)exalted you from the dust and made you leader over My people Israel, and ^(B)you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have misled My people Israel into sin, provoking Me to anger with their sins,

¹⁷ The Lord of armies, who ^(A)planted you, has ^(B)pronounced evil against you because of the evil of the house of Israel and the house of Judah, which they have ^[a]done to provoke Me by ^[b](C)offering sacrifices to Baal.
