(A)On the [a]testimony of two witnesses or three witnesses, the [b]condemned shall be put to death; he shall not be put to death on the [c]testimony of only one witness. (B)The hands of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. (C)So you shall eliminate the evil from your midst.

(D)If a case is too difficult for you to decide, between [d]one kind of homicide or another, between [e]one kind of lawsuit or another, and between [f]one kind of assault or another, that are cases of dispute in your [g]courts, then you shall arise and go up to (E)the place which the Lord your God chooses.

On the testimony of two or three witnesses a person is to be put to death, but no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.(A) The hands of the witnesses must be the first in putting that person to death,(B) and then the hands of all the people.(C) You must purge the evil(D) from among you.

Law Courts

If cases come before your courts that are too difficult for you to judge(E)—whether bloodshed, lawsuits or assaults(F)—take them to the place the Lord your God will choose.(G)
