⁹ Be careful that there is no mean-spirited ^[a]thought in your heart, ^[b]such as, ‘^(A)The seventh year, the year of release of debts, is near,’ and ^(B)your eye is malicious toward your poor brother, and you give him nothing; then he ^(C)may cry out to the Lord against you, and it will be a sin in you.

⁷ now, will God not ^(A)bring about justice for His ^(B)elect who cry out to Him day ^[a]and night, and will He ^(C)delay long for them?
