Deuteronomy 13:5

5 But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be (A)put to death, because he has spoken falsely against the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of [a]slavery, (B)to drive you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. (C)So you shall eliminate the evil from among you.

5 That prophet or dreamer must be put to death(A) for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn(B) you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil(C) from among you.

20 But the prophet who speaks a word (A)presumptuously in My name, a word which I have not commanded him to speak, or (B)which he speaks in the name of other gods, [a]that prophet shall die.’

25 Then it came about, as soon as he had finished [c]offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the [d](B)guard and to the royal officers, “(C)Go in, [e]kill them; let none come out.” So they [f]killed them with the edge of the sword; and the [g]guard and the royal officers threw them out, and went to the [h]sanctuary of the house of Baal.

24 So they went in to make sacrifices and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had posted eighty men outside with this warning: “If one of you lets any of the men I am placing in your hands escape, it will be your life for his life.”(A)
25 As soon as Jehu had finished making the burnt offering, he ordered the guards and officers: “Go in and kill(B) them; let no one escape.”(C) So they cut them down with the sword. The guards and officers threw the bodies out and then entered the inner shrine of the temple of Baal.
