29 When the Lord your God brings you into the land you will take as your own, you are to announce the blessings from Mount Gerizim and the curses from Mount Ebal. 30 (These mountains are on the other side of the Jordan River, to the west, toward the sunset. 29 When the Lord your God has brought you into the land you are entering to possess, you are to proclaim on Mount Gerizim(A) the blessings, and on Mount Ebal(B) the curses.(C) 30 As you know, these mountains are across the Jordan, westward, toward the setting sun, near the great trees of Moreh,(D) in the territory of those Canaanites living in the Arabah in the vicinity of Gilgal.(E) 31 You are about to cross the Jordan to enter and take possession(F) of the land the Lord your God is giving(G) you.
