¹⁶So I strive always to keep my conscience clear^(A) before God and man.

¹³Therefore, ^(A)if food causes my brother to sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause my brother to sin.

¹³Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, so that I will not cause them to fall.^(A)
