But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him. And (D)they slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, then (E)put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him with bronze shackles, and brought him to Babylon.

Then the (D)king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah (E)before his eyes at Riblah; the king of Babylon also slaughtered all the (F)nobles of Judah. He then (G)blinded Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him in (H)shackles of bronze to bring him to (I)Babylon. The Chaldeans also (J)burned the king’s palace and the houses of the people with fire, and they (K)tore down the walls of Jerusalem. And as for the rest of the people who were left in the city, the (L)deserters who had deserted to him and (M)the rest of the people who remained, (N)Nebuzaradan the (O)captain of the bodyguard took them into exile in Babylon.
