¹²If we endure, ^(A)we will also reign with Him;
If we ^[a]^(B)deny Him, He will also deny us;

¹²If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

⁹^(A)then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from ^[a]a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the ^(B)day of judgment,

⁹The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
