24 However, the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will certainly buy it from you for a price; for (A)I will not offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God [a]that cost me nothing.” So (B)David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

24 But the king replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.”(A)
So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels[a](B) of silver for them.
