Which You have (B)redeemed to be the (C)tribe of Your inheritance;
And this Mount (D)Zion, where You have dwelt.
[a]Step toward the [b](E)irreparable ruins;
The enemy (F)has damaged everything in the sanctuary.
Your adversaries have (G)roared in the midst of Your meeting place;
They have set up their (H)own signs as (I)signs.
It [c]seems like one bringing up
His (J)axe into a [d]forest of trees.
And now they break down [e]all its (K)carved work
With axe and hammers.

They have (M)defiled the dwelling place of Your name.

They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.
