4 And Elijah said to him, “Elisha, please (A)stay here, for the Lord has sent me to (B)Jericho.” But he said, “(C)As surely as the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So they came to Jericho. 5 Then (D)the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho approached Elisha and said to him, “(E)Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over [a]you today?” And he [b]answered, “Yes, I know; say nothing about it.” 6 And Elijah said to him, “Please (F)stay here, for the Lord has sent me to (G)the Jordan.” But he said, “As surely as the Lord lives, and as you yourself live, I will not leave you.” So the two of them went on.

5 The company(B) of the prophets at Jericho went up to Elisha and asked him, “Do you know that the Lord is going to take your master from you today?”
“Yes, I know,” he replied, “so be quiet.”
6 Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here;(C) the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.”(D)
And he replied, “As surely as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.”(E) So the two of them walked on.
