8 [a][b]Look to yourselves, that we lose not the things, which we have done, but that we may receive a full reward.
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that continueth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 [c]If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, (A)receive him not to house, neither bid him Godspeed.

8 Watch out that you do not lose what we[a] have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.(A) 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ(B) does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.(C) 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take them into your house or welcome them.(D)
