6 And ^(A)working together with Him, ^(B)we also urge you not to receive ^(C)the grace of God in vain—

6 As God’s co-workers^(A) we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.^(B)

¹⁶holding firmly the word of life, so that on ^(A)the day of Christ I can take pride because I did not ^(B)run in vain nor ^(C)labor in vain.

¹⁶as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ^(A) that I did not run^(B) or labor in vain.^(C)
