1 Timothy 5:18-20

¹⁸For the Scripture says, “^(A)You shall not muzzle the ox while it is threshing,” and “^(B)The laborer is worthy of his wages.” ¹⁹Do not accept an accusation against an ^(C)elder except on the basis of ^(D)two or three witnesses. ²⁰Those who continue in sin, ^(E)rebuke in the presence of all, ^(F)so that the rest also will be fearful of sinning.

¹⁸For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,”^[a]^(A) and “The worker deserves his wages.”^[b]^(B) ¹⁹Do not entertain an accusation against an elder^(C) unless it is brought by two or three witnesses.^(D) ²⁰But those elders who are sinning you are to reprove^(E) before everyone, so that the others may take warning.^(F)
