1 Thessalonians 4:6-8

6 and that no one violate the rights and (A)take advantage of his brother or sister (B)in the matter, because (C)the Lord is the avenger in all these things, just as we also (D)told you previously and solemnly warned you. 7 For (E)God has not called us for [a](F)impurity, but in sanctification. 8 Therefore, the one who rejects this is not rejecting man, but the God who (G)gives His Holy Spirit to you.

6 and that in this matter no one should wrong or take advantage of a brother or sister.[a](A) The Lord will punish(B) all those who commit such sins,(C) as we told you and warned you before. 7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.(D) 8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit.(E)
