²⁹ Then he carved all the surrounding walls of the house with engravings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, for the inner and outer sanctuaries.

³² So he made two doors of olive wood, and he carved on them carvings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold; and he overlaid the cherubim and the palm trees with gold.

³⁵ He carved on it cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers; and he overlaid them with gold plated on the carved work.

²⁶ There were seven ^(A)steps going up to it, and its porches were in front of them; and it had ^(B)palm tree decorations on its side pillars, one on each side.

³¹ And its porches were toward the outer courtyard; and ^(A)palm tree decorations were on its side pillars, and its stairway had eight ^(B)steps.

¹⁸ It was ^[a]carved with ^(A)cherubim and ^(B)palm trees; and a palm tree was between cherub and cherub, and every cherub had two faces: ¹⁹ a ^(C)human face toward the palm tree on one side and a young ^(D)lion’s face toward the palm tree on the other side; they were ^[b]carved on all the house all around. ²⁰ From the ground to above the entrance ^(E)cherubim and ^(F)palm trees were ^[c]carved, as well as on the wall of the sanctuary.
