³⁸ Then the ^(A)fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood, and the stones and the dust; and it licked up the water that was in the trench.

⁵⁴ When His disciples ^(A)James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to ^(B)command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?”

⁵ And if anyone wants to harm them, ^(A)fire flows out of their mouth and devours their enemies; and so if anyone wants to harm them, ^(B)he must be killed in this way.

⁹ And they ^(A)came up on the ^[a]broad plain of the earth and surrounded the ^(B)camp of the ^[b]saints and the ^(C)beloved city, and ^(D)fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
