¹⁴So also ^(A)the Lord directed those who proclaim the ^(B)gospel to ^(C)get their living from the gospel.

1 Corinthians 9:14

New International Version

¹⁴In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.^(A)

¹⁸For the Scripture says, “^(A)You shall not muzzle the ox while it is threshing,” and “^(B)The laborer is worthy of his wages.”

¹⁸For Scripture says, “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain,”^[a]^(A) and “The worker deserves his wages.”^[b]^(B)
