Paul’s Reliance upon the Spirit

2 And when I came to you, brothers and sisters, I ^(A)did not come as someone superior in ^[a]speaking ability or ^[b]wisdom, as I proclaimed to you ^(B)the ^[c]testimony of God.

⁴ and my ^[a]message and my preaching were ^(A)not in persuasive words of ^[b]wisdom, but in demonstration of ^(B)the Spirit and of power,

¹³ We also speak these things, ^(A)not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, ^[a]combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words.

¹⁰ For they say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but his ^[a]personal presence is ^(A)unimpressive and ^(B)his speech contemptible.”

⁶ But even if I am ^(A)unskilled in speech, yet I am not so in ^(B)knowledge; in fact, in every way we have ^(C)made this evident to you in all things.
