33 Now these are (A)the singers, heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, who lived in the chambers of the temple free of other duties; for they were [a]engaged (B)in their work day and night. 34 These were heads of fathers’ households of the Levites according to their generations, chief men [b]who lived in Jerusalem.

33 Those who were musicians,(A) heads of Levite families, stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night.(B)
34 All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.
