1 Chronicles 29:7-9
New American Standard Bible
7 and for the service of the house of God they gave five thousand talents and ten thousand [a](A)darics of gold, ten thousand talents of silver, eighteen thousand talents of brass, and a hundred thousand talents of iron. 8 [b]Whoever possessed precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of the Lord, [c]in care of (B)Jehiel the Gershonite. 9 Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the Lord (C)wholeheartedly, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

7 They(A) gave toward the work on the temple of God five thousand talents[a] and ten thousand darics[b] of gold, ten thousand talents[c] of silver, eighteen thousand talents[d] of bronze and a hundred thousand talents[e] of iron. 8 Anyone who had precious stones(B) gave them to the treasury of the temple of the Lord in the custody of Jehiel the Gershonite.(C) 9 The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly(D) to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.
