6 He said to me, ‘Your son (A)Solomon is the one who shall build My house and My courtyards; for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a Father to him. 7 I will establish his kingdom forever (B)if he resolutely performs My commandments and My ordinances, as [a]is done now.’ 8 So now, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the [b]presence of our God, keep and seek after all the commandments of the Lord your God so that you may possess the good land and leave it as an inheritance to your sons after you forever.

8 “So now I charge you in the sight of all Israel(D) and of the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God: Be careful to follow all the commands(E) of the Lord your God, that you may possess this good land and pass it on as an inheritance to your descendants forever.(F)
