Acts 6:5-7

⁵ The ^[a]announcement found approval with the whole ^[b]congregation; and they chose ^(A)Stephen, a man ^(B)full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and ^(C)Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and ^[c]Nicolas, a ^[d](D)proselyte from ^(E)Antioch. ⁶ And they brought these men before the apostles; and after ^(F)praying, they ^(G)laid their hands on them.

^7 (H)The word of God kept spreading; and ^(I)the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to ^(J)the faith.
