Your Bible Gateway account is the same, whether you create it through the app or the website. Your notes, highlights, and favorites are synced to any device or browser you are logged into. That said, there are a few differences in how your account works in the app and how it works on the website:

1. Our website offers several colors to highlight Scripture, but our app currently offers just one. All highlights made on the website will sync to the app, but they will appear in yellow.
2. Reading plan progress is not synced between the app and the website.
