NEKODA, nĭ kō’ də (נְקﯴדָ֖א). 1. Eponym of a family of Nethinim who returned to Jerusalem after the Babylonian captivity (Ezra 2:48; Neh 7:50; 1 Esd 5:31 KJV, ASV NOEBA).
2. Eponym of a family of returned exiles who were unable to prove their Israelite descent (Ezra 2:60; Neh 7:62; 1 Esd 5:37) (KJV NECODAN, ASV NEKODAN).
