NAHAMANI nā’ ə mā’ nī (נַחֲמָ֜נִי, compassionate). One of the Israelites who returned from the Exile with Zerubbabel (Neh 7:7). The name is omitted in Ezra 2:2. In 1 Esdras 5:8 the KJV has “Enenius”; the ASV, “Eneneus,” and the RSV, “Bigvai.”
