MACHNADEBAI măk năd’ ə bī (מַכְנַדְבַ֥י). Son of Bani, one of those who gave up their foreign wives in the time of Ezra (Ezra 10:40). The RSV substitutes this name in 1 Esdras 9:34 for ASV MAMNITANEMUS.
