3 “I will take away man and animal. I will take away the birds of the sky and the fish of the sea. I will destroy the sinful. And I will take man from off the earth,” says the Lord. 4 “I will put out My hand against Judah and against all the people of Jerusalem. I will destroy from this place the rest of the people who worship Baal, and the names of the religious leaders who worship false gods. 5 I will destroy those who bow down on the roofs to the stars of heaven, and those who bow down and make promises to the Lord and yet promise in the name of Milcom.

3 “I will sweep away both man and beast;(A)
I will sweep away the birds in the sky(B)
and the fish in the sea—
and the idols that cause the wicked to stumble.”[a]
“When I destroy all mankind
on the face of the earth,”(C)
declares the Lord,(D)
4 “I will stretch out my hand(E) against Judah
and against all who live in Jerusalem.
I will destroy every remnant of Baal worship in this place,(F)
the very names of the idolatrous priests(G)—
5 those who bow down on the roofs
to worship the starry host,(H)
those who bow down and swear by the Lord
and who also swear by Molek,[b](I)
