15 Mukama n’alyoka aŋŋamba nti, “Twala nate ebintu eby’omusumba omusirusiru bye yandikozesezza. 16 Kubanga laba, nze nyimusizza omusumba mu nsi atafaayo ku ndiga ezizikirira era atanoonya zisaasaanye, era atayunga zimenyese wadde okuliisa ennamu, naye alya ensolo ensava ng’aziyuzaako ebinuulo.
17 (A)“ ‘Zimusanze omusumba wange ataliiko ky’agasa
agayaalirira ekisibo!
Ekitala kifumite omukono gwe ogwa ddyo, kiggyemu n’eriiso lye erya ddyo!
Omukono gwe gukalire ddala,
n’eriiso lye erya ddyo lizibire ddala!’ ”

15 Then the Lord said to me, “Take again the equipment of a foolish shepherd. 16 For I am going to raise up a shepherd over the land who will not care for the lost, or seek the young, or heal the injured, or feed the healthy, but will eat the meat of the choice sheep, tearing off their hooves.
