7 The Lord of hosts says this:
I will rescue my people
from the countries of the east
and from the countries of the west.
8 I will bring them back
to dwell in Jerusalem.
They will be my people,
and I will be their God,
a God of faithfulness and justice.
9 Thus says the Lord of hosts: Take heart, all you who today hear the promises from the words spoken by the prophets who were present when the foundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid for the rebuilding of the temple.

7 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “I will save my people from the countries of the east and the west.(A) 8 I will bring them back(B) to live(C) in Jerusalem; they will be my people,(D) and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God.(E)”
9 This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Now hear these words, ‘Let your hands be strong(F) so that the temple may be built.’ This is also what the prophets(G) said who were present when the foundation(H) was laid for the house of the Lord Almighty.
