10 For before these days
There were no (A)wages for man nor any hire for beast;
There was no peace from the enemy for whoever went out or came in;
For I set all men, everyone, against his neighbor.
11 (B)But now I will not treat the remnant of this people as in the former days,’ says the Lord of hosts.
12 ‘For(C) the [a]seed shall be prosperous,
The vine shall give its fruit,
(D)The ground shall give her increase,
And (E)the heavens shall give their dew—
I will cause the remnant of this people
To possess all these.

10 Before that time there were no wages(A) for people or hire for animals. No one could go about their business safely(B) because of their enemies, since I had turned everyone against their neighbor. 11 But now I will not deal with the remnant of this people as I did in the past,”(C) declares the Lord Almighty.
12 “The seed will grow well, the vine will yield its fruit,(D) the ground will produce its crops,(E) and the heavens will drop their dew.(F) I will give all these things as an inheritance(G) to the remnant of this people.(H)
