Zechariah 7:12-14

12 They made their (A)hearts like [a](B)flint [b]so that they could not hear the law and the (C)words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the (D)former prophets; therefore great (E)wrath came from the Lord of hosts. 13 And just as (F)He called and they would not listen, so (G)they called and I would not listen,” says the Lord of hosts; 14 “but I [c](H)scattered them with a (I)storm wind among all the nations whom they have not known. Thus the land is (J)desolated behind them [d]so that (K)no one went back and forth, for they (L)made the pleasant land desolate.”

New International Version
12 They made their hearts as hard as flint(A) and would not listen to the law or to the words that the Lord Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets.(B) So the Lord Almighty was very angry.(C)
13 “‘When I called, they did not listen;(D) so when they called, I would not listen,’(E) says the Lord Almighty.(F) 14 ‘I scattered(G) them with a whirlwind(H) among all the nations, where they were strangers. The land they left behind them was so desolate that no one traveled through it.(I) This is how they made the pleasant land desolate.(J)’”
