8 For thus said the Lord of hosts, after his glory sent me to the nations who plundered you, for he who touches you touches the apple of his eye: 9 “Behold, I will shake my hand over them, and they shall become plunder for those who served them. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me. 10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for lo, I come and I will dwell in the midst of you, says the Lord.

8 For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye(A)— 9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them.[a](B) Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.(C)
10 “Shout(D) and be glad, Daughter Zion.(E) For I am coming,(F) and I will live among you,”(G) declares the Lord.(H)
