Zechariah 2:7-9
Common English Bible
7 Look out, Zion.
Flee, you who dwell with Daughter Babylon!
8 The Lord of heavenly forces proclaims (after his glory sent me)[a]
concerning the nations plundering you:
Those who strike you strike the pupil of my eye.
9 But look, I am about to raise my hand against them;
they will become prey to their own slaves,
so you will know that the Lord of heavenly forces sent me.

Escape,(A) you who live in Daughter Babylon!”(B) 8 For this is what the Lord Almighty says: “After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye(C)— 9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them.[a](D) Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.(E)
