Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi. Zabbuli ya Dawudi.
20 (A)Mukama akwanukulenga ng’oli mu buzibu.
Erinnya lya Katonda wa Yakobo likukuumenga.
2 (B)Akuweerezenga obuyambi obuva mu kifo kye ekitukuvu;
akudduukirirenga okuva ku lusozi Sayuuni.
3 (C)Ajjukirenga ssaddaaka zo zonna z’omuwa,
era asiimenga ebiweebwayo byo ebyokebwa.
4 (D)Akuwenga omutima gwo bye gwetaaga,
era atuukirizenga by’oteekateeka byonna.
5 (E)Tulijaganya olw’obuwanguzi bwo,
ne tuwuuba ebendera zaffe mu linnya lya Katonda waffe.
Mukama akuwenga byonna by’omusaba.
6 (F)Kaakano ntegedde nga Mukama awanguza oyo gwe yafukako amafuta,
amwanukula ng’amuwa obuwanguzi n’omukono gwe ogwa ddyo,
ng’asinziira mu ggulu lye ettukuvu.
7 (G)Abamu beesiga amagaali, n’abalala beesiga embalaasi,
naye ffe twesiga erinnya lya Mukama Katonda waffe.
8 (H)Batalantuka ne bagwa wansi ne balemerawo,
naye ffe tugolokoka ne tuyimirira nga tuli banywevu.
9 (I)Ayi Mukama, lokola kabaka,
otwanukule bwe tukukoowoola.

For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;(A)
may the name of the God of Jacob(B) protect you.(C)
2 May he send you help(D) from the sanctuary(E)
and grant you support(F) from Zion.(G)
3 May he remember(H) all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b](I)
4 May he give you the desire of your heart(J)
and make all your plans succeed.(K)
5 May we shout for joy(L) over your victory
and lift up our banners(M) in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.(N)
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.(O)
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.(P)
7 Some trust in chariots(Q) and some in horses,(R)
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.(S)
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,(T)
but we rise up(U) and stand firm.(V)
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us(W) when we call!
