For concerning Shabbos, the Yom HaShevi’i, Hashem has said somewhere, "VAYISHBOT Elohim BAYOM HASHEVI’I MIKOL MELAKHTO" ("And He rested on the seventh day from all His work." [BERESHIS 2:2]
