9 The voice of Hashem causes the deer to calve, and strips bare the ye’arot (forests); and in His Heikhal doth everyone say, Kavod!

7 The voice of the Lord strikes
    with flashes of lightning.(A)
8 The voice of the Lord shakes the desert;
    the Lord shakes the Desert of Kadesh.(B)
9 The voice of the Lord twists the oaks[a](C)
    and strips the forests bare.
And in his temple all cry, “Glory!”(D)
