Song of Songs 4:10-12

Song of Songs 4:10-12
Evangelical Heritage Version
10 How delightful it is to experience your love,
my sister, my bride!
How much better is your love than wine,
and the fragrance of your perfume than any spice!
11 Your lips drip like a honeycomb, my bride.
Honey and milk are under your tongue.
The fragrance of your garments
is like the fragrance of Lebanon.
12 You are an enclosed garden, my sister, my bride.
You are an enclosed spring,[a] a sealed fountain.
Footnotes
- Song of Songs 4:12 The meaning of the word gal translated spring is uncertain. The parallelism with fountain supports the translation spring.
