Sirach 27:25-27

²⁵ Those who throw a stone straight up throw it on their own heads,
    and a treacherous blow opens up many wounds.
²⁶ Whoever digs a pit will fall into it,
    and whoever sets a snare will be caught in it.^(A)
27 If people do evil, it will roll back upon them,
    and they will not know where it came from.
